Masonic Care WA is a Western Australian charity organisation, providing accommodation and residential care services to seniors in both metropolitan and regional WA. Our commitment to Compassion, Integrity and Respect drives everything we do.
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations across our organisation. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee key financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all areas of financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of the monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the various business as required.
- Assist with the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and manage annual external audits in collaboration with the CFO.
- Maintain the organisation’s asset register, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
- Prepare the annual FBT returns in compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Complete compliance reporting with financial institutions and other regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain efficient financial workflows.
What You Bring:
- CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Experience in Aged Care or Retirement Living finance (desirable).
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced accounting expertise within small to medium, complex organisations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
