About the Role

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse - Level 1's to join our team at Howard Solomon Residential Care working a regular shift patterns each week. These roles are all about leading and supporting the care team while delivering excellent, person-centered care to our residents. 

You will play a key role in guiding the care team during your shift, delivering hands-on clinical care, overseeing resident health and wellbeing, mentoring staff, and ensuring the shift runs smoothly, all while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the care team during shifts to ensure high-quality, resident-centred care.
  • Deliver hands-on clinical care to residents, assessing and responding to their health and wellbeing.
  • Mentor, guide, and support care staff to develop skills and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support resident care.
  • Recognise and respond promptly to changes in residents’ health or behaviour.
  • Contribute to improvements in care practices and participate in team initiatives.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, confident, and able to lead a team while delivering hands-on clinical care. You will have:

  • Current AHPRA General Nurse registration
  • Experience in aged care or healthcare
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of residents
