About the Role:

We are seeking qualified Physiotherapists and/or Occupational Therapists to join our residential care team. You will work as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver therapy services that promote mobility, wellbeing, and independence for our residents.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including functional, cognitive, and mobility evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised care plans based on residents’ goals and assessed needs.
  • Provide targeted interventions in areas such as pain management, mobility, rehabilitation, and falls prevention.
  • Recommend assistive equipment, environmental modifications, and therapeutic strategies.
  • Monitor resident outcomes and document progress, adjusting care as needed.
  • Collaborate with the broader care team, including nursing, lifestyle, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.
  • Educate and train staff on safe mobility, transfers, and therapy techniques.
  • Ensure all therapy services are delivered in accordance with Aged Care Standards and organisational policies.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in aged care, community, or rehabilitation settings (preferred).
  • A person-centred approach and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults through compassionate, evidence-based care.
